This is the definition file version, like Defender definitions. It changes several times a day.

I don't get the error and mine is 4.0.0.594. MBAM Premium 4.1.0.

Rich, that's what I'm thinking. He's got a back revved MBAM tray module mixed in with current app and dll's. That's why I wanted to see the actual .exe and it's rev #. He should try the mbam support clean and reinstall again, and if that does not right it, deactivate the install key, completely uninstall MBAM (Revo or the like), and reinstall and activate.

Mine does seem to be older than yours. This is all after running the cleanup tool a few days ago.

    Thanks for the assistance.

Are you running the Beta, or regular public. Based on the component file, you are running public free, not beta. If that is the case, you are behind in an update. The current component file is 1.0.848 for the free version. Check to see if you have an update available. On the About scree, check for updates.

I'm not running beta, just regular public version. I did check for an update before taking the screenshot, and again just now but it says Im up to date on 1.0.385

edit. I just spammed "check for updates" a few times and it's now updated to 1.0.848

    Sorry.... not really funny, but.....

Now that you're up to date on the free version level components, that may have fixed whatever was causing the MBAM tray app to crash randomly. Guess you'll need to monitor RH as you were for a while.
