There is a new public ẞeta of Malwarebytes, MB 4, that is now available to DL from their forums. The thread is located at Malwarebytes 4 Beta - Malwarebytes 4.x Beta - Malwarebytes Forums

Please read the thread carefully - if you are currently running MB 3.x, you will not received this OTA - you have to manually install it. Also, be prepared for random FPS - I've been a part of the closed ẞeta test for several weeks now, and FPs were the name of the game for a lot of us.

Again, please read that entire thread carefully before jumping on to the MB 4 ẞeta test.

    Thank you.

    EDIT: Added the following:

Also, your current license / license + key should work perfectly fine in MB 4 - it has on all 3 of my machines.

Thanks for that, John. Do you think this deserves it's own thread to avoid co-mingling issues and answers? Just a thought. TC

I thought about it - and in retrospect, it probably does.
@Brink, even though you've updated the FP, could we throw this into a separate thread completely to keep from screwing this thread up?

It should be fine here since this thread is all about the latest MBAM, beta or not.

Folks just need to specify version or beta.

Not a bad idea at all, but because the earlier Beta1 was in limited/private distribution for well over a month, the public MB4 BETA version released yesterday should be in good shape.

Please do acquaint yourselves with the "Known Issues" list and the new False Positive (FP) reporting procedures.

    However, forum management's call.

    Thank you.

For those who have it, what do you think of it so far?

Just downloaded a few hours ago, haven't played with it much yet, a quick scan takes 6 seconds, the new gui is a huge improvement over the last version. Johngalt has been running since the private beta so he may add more.
