I'm presently using the free version of Avast and quite like it as I'd grown a bit tired of my existing one being AVG.
One of the issues with AVG was the sluggish Support system and trying Avast's support got me a Tel: number that said it wasn't presently being attended too?

I think it was a USA number but is there a contact for here in the UK. There appears to be several on offer but is there an actual Avast UK support line? It looks like Avast subs out their Support to 3rd paty but how good are they.

I don't have an issues right now but going forward I might have and the ability to make phone contact will be important in my decision making of which software I choose.

    Thanks

It appears there is a known bug which prevents scheduled scans from running.

Scheduled full scan is not running.
