    yahoo support

Hi, I use yahoo mail as a secondary email client. For the past month or so I am having issues with it. When i try to read some emails I cant access it. Or other times when I click on it the mouse pointer will sit an spin. Other times i will be reading an email and when i am through reading it i will click on my inbox to read others i have to X out of it and go back in to get to my inbox. I called their support and they are telling me that i am being hacked by someone in Russia. The do a netstat and see the following:

After reading that they are trying to tell me i need to have it fixed by CICSO FOR $300 WHICH I believe is a crock of poop. I tell them I am broke and cant afford it and they tell me I sound rich and I can afford it.

Has anyone else heard of this scam? If so, what did u do?

Also, can someone else verify to me that I am correct about this by looking at those results?

    thx

Delete your Yahoo address book, delete all received and sent emails, close the account. This is good advice for anyone.
