360 Total Security Essentials. A slightly more basic version of the one you use Stephanie. Also totally free with no nagging to upgrade or advertising. Cool. :)
I use Bit Defender, but that is just part of my security plan which also includes patch management, web protection and cloud backup. It is a paid managed security subscription.
I have a general question about anti viruses:
If there are millions of known viruses in the database of some anti virus software, how can it scan so fast?
Doesn't it need to check each and every file and match it with millions of viruses? So how does it scan each file in a millisecond?
On my main desktop I use Eset Smart Security, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium and Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit(free). On my other desktop and my laptop I use Eset Smart Security, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware(free) and Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit(free). On my Win 10 Insider preview and my wife's laptop I use Windows Defender, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware(free)and Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit(free). I also do a occasional scan with Superantispyware(free).
