    Hi.
Just wondering why you want to run it? Are you having problems which maybe require running sfc /scannow?

No, it is not compatible with Windows 10 and likely never will be.

Combofix and similar tools are not designed for use by computer users without expert training and guidance.
It (and others like it) are powerful tools that can damage the computer if used improperly.

If you think you might be infected, I suggest posting in one of several, busy, reputable computer disinfection fora, for a bit of free, expert help.

    Thanks,

Normal applications will normally run well on operating systems they were not designed for. But ComboFix is not a normal application and must do things that normal applications should never do. This requires detailed knowledge of the environment in which the program is run or results are unpredictable, but often unpleasant. ComboFix does an OS version check to avoid this problem.

It may be possible to force ComboFix to run but as in the real world when you force things there is a tendency for them to break. ComboFix is a powerful tool and can do serious damage if not used properly.

Note that ComboFix can ruin an OS that it is designed to run on. The disclaimer that it not be used without professional help is good, but IMHO they should restrict access to it. A tool that is not safe for the general public should not be made available to the public; it should be provided by the professional.

Agreed. Combofix should never be run without professional assistance, and it should never be run on W8.1 or W10, period. (Unless, of course, you are prepared for a complete clean install.)
