Cheers, liking keeping the virus as a virtual pet! Ok, let me get serious here, if I extract the contents with 7-Zip and then scan it with avast or MBAM, will that work or do some files (e.g. The Virus) remain in the ISO rather than the extracted folder. Basically, if I use a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract then scan with an anti-virus, will that work?

WHS, I don't think that virus total can scan a file of 3.7 gigs.

Calculate the MD5 or SHA1 verification value of the ISO. Compare it to the same ISO downloaded by someone else. If they are the same, you've got a good ISO.

Download Microsoft File Checksum Integrity Verifier from Official Microsoft Download Center

I have NO IDEA what you are talking about so I am just going to carry on with mah life. I don't want to do zen dodgy stuff and how would I compare it to someone else's when they wouldn't allow me to have access to their PC. So the question remains.

That is a good point. I think 128MB is the max.

You can resort to the known AV scanners. E.g. this one: Error: Page Not Found - Symantec Corp.

Edit: Ignore the "Page not found".
