    Norton Internet Security 2015

I tried to install Norton Internet security on a friends pc, his is Windows 10 Home x 32bit. Message says incompatible.

I read elsewhere Norton does not like edge browser either. How can I get rid of edge and use Internet Explorer as the browser and how can I bring back the tools back up top that were available in Windows 7 and 8.1?

Any assistance on this would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Bondy99

I am running Norton's 360 on 2 of my Windows 10 Pro computers, with no problems. Edge does not support adding any addon's at present, so Norton can't add itself to edge for protection. You can't turn off edge or remove it. You can make IE 11 your default browser thou. Just go to settings/system/default apps/ and make sure IE is your default browser, not edge.

I'm also running Norton Internet Security on my Windows 10 computer.
When I upgraded from Windows 10, my Norton disk said it was incompatible.
I just downloaded the latest edition from the Norton site and put in my serial number, and it's working fine.

Yes Cornishman, I did forget to mention that fact, Norton has updated their versions, for Windows 10, just recently again. So the user should download the updated version from Norton. Good Point!! :)

For all Norton security products, make sure you are using 22.5 or newer which is needed for Windows 10.

The patch has been out since the end of November except not everyone has gotten it via liveupdate yet. I'm still on 22.5.4.24. The installers are all older versions but the objective is to get it working in Windows 10 first and let it update on it's own after doing the live updates manually.
