I use Sticky password which once I have put in one password to open it I can then get all my other passwords
Can hold up to 200 passwords
It has never let me down and also backed up on the cloud as well.
It is not free but worth the money I pay for it for 1 year

Another one to consider is Safe In Cloud Password Manager. I've been using it for a few years now and it's perfect. I had recently been a user of Lasspass but I gave up on them and also tried a few others and to be honest I find Safe in Cloud to be vastly superior.

It's a great little password manager and it's FREE to use on your desktop, you can choose to keep your password database stored locally on your machine (which you can backup to USB drive or anywhere else) or you can sync it with cloud storage like Skydrive, Google Drive or Dropbox. It uses 256-bit Advanced Encryption too.

They also have browser extensions for all the main browsers and also apps for mobile devices, but if you want to use it on a mobile device (android/apple) then you have to pay for the mobile app only, everything else is free. The thing I love about is it gives you the choice where to save your password database, so if you don't want to keep it in the cloud then no problem you don't have to, and if you decide you do then you also don't have to pay extra fee's to keep it there of either.

It has all the features you could want, and can generate passwords for you and can let you know if you have any weak or the same passwords.

I highly recommend giving it a try, there are no limits on the amount of passwords it can store and I'm also surprised its not more well known given how excellent it is.

have a look here and give it a try : SafeInCloud Password Manager for Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac

Thanks simrick, I do recognise Steve Gibson's name from other on-line comments I've read so I'll be having a look at LastPass too.

    Thanks everyone.

Hate to tell you - LastPass was hacked in June - since it is one of the most popular password managers, it's not suprising hackers are anxious to bring it down. Better to stick with a lesser known/popular password manager. I, like 'hTconeM9user', use 'Sticky Password' - all though i've noticed it is somewhat flakey using it on Windows 10.

I have used LastPass for several years now and continue to be amazed by its security. Per simrick - all your passwords are encrypted and you are the sole owner of the decrypt key. I don't care who hacks them, the passwords are still encrypted and LastPass does not have the key. It runs on everything I own, from Microsoft to Apple. Since your passwords are encrypted and available from anywhere you are, it has been a lifesaver. Could not be happier with the program.
Yes...there is an annual fee, but you probably drop in that year and do not retrieve in pennies - more than the annual fee. All you need and are responsible for is a virtually unbreakable password - 14 to 16 character/letters should do it. Especially since that is the only password you ever need to remember...

You already have an inbuilt password saver in W10, all you need to remember is your account signing in password so make sure you have a very strong one.

If when you first add a new contact requiring a sign on identification and password, and your computer offers to save and you take up that option then you always have a backup.

To find site identifications and passwords open User Accounts and click on Credential Manager, then Manage Web Credentials.
Click on whichever site you wish to know by expanding.
Clicking on Show Password will reveal.....You will of course need to use your account signing in password for this to work.

Well I was leaning towards LastPass, I like the look of DashLane but LastPass stores on cloud for free.
Since my last post a few more suggestions have come up so I'll go look at them and I'd like to find out more about the W10 inbuilt Password saver.

Too many treats on the table, it's becoming difficult to decide which to select.

    Thanks all for your information.

If you read my post #6 here, and the other two following, you will see that there is NOTHING for hackers to get except a bunch of gibberish. Your info is decrypted on YOUR device - LastPass don't even have your key - they simply can't get your info!

When LastPass were hacked in June, users were told to wait for an email, *IF* they needed to change their master password. Turned out, unless you had a VERY WEAK password, you didn't even need to do that.

I'm telling you, LastPass is the way to go. It's cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-OS. It also offers multi-factor authentication. It has free and premium versions.

Oh yeah, if you want to start your LastPass out with only phone/tablet, that's free now too:

I use RoboForm to keep all my passwords. I've been using it for around the last 14 years or so. Its not a free app. Works real well, no limit on how many passwords you want to save. lots of user features.
