Need help getting rid of a McAfee (stealth) program

    In @MisterEd's case it was likely something like Macafee Security Scan which comes bundled with other software and installs itself if you don't pay attention.

    Where do I find the "installed software" as you did? Are you there?

    McAfee Antivirus was easy to find but the other program was farther down the list.
    Sorry I don't remember what the other programs name was.

    Settings > Apps >Apps & features
