Bitlocker query
I was looking into encrypting just one folder on drive C: and came across this..........
"Why not just bitlock whole of C drive - that is more secure, as user can only access data if they know your Windows password."
The thread is a year old so I did not add to it. Is this really true or is the phrase just poorly worded? Can a Bitlockered hard drive be accessed if an intruder knows the Windows password? Surely that makes BL pointless? There is a way of changing a Win password by booting from a Windows USB stick I believe, which according to the quote above allows access to the hard drive.
