What are your thoughts on Kaspersky Total Security?

I know many people are opposed to Kaspersky strictly because they're Russian. But have you tried KTS? Did you enjoy it?

I have had it for years and never had malware. Albeit I don't click on suspicious links either and so on. But to me the software suite looks good, I really like the built-in firewall too

I've stood next to marine boilers made in China under the rules and supervision of Lloyds surveyors. Apple stuff is made in China. We can't distrust all Chinese goods.

I could go into a history lesson but do not discriminate. Eastern Europeans are the reason I am able to enjoy computers for the most part from the early 2000's outside of other circles. Give it a try, you afraid then scan the installation file at virus total.
I would use Kaspersky but I am good with Avast. My problem is that if I update the definitions how much more bs will I have to deal with. That is my concern. In terms of being an "Out of the box experience" then go for it.

Apple = Lemons . iOS and OSX are both literally Unix variants. You might as well just install Ubuntu and alter it to your pleasure.

Apple like Nintendo makes great hardware but the software is questionable. Like this beautiful machine but nothing useful.

The "out of the box" experience is what keeps people in the Apple loop. From the OS9 days you could
start a website, talk via a camera on your computer, and so many things that slowly was built into the operating system without any
knowledge about computers.

The real truth about Apple is that the software has always been monitoring your actions. If you actually did some homework you would not even need them at all.

The only reason why we need to "touch base with apple" is because of a client ( job or employment ). It is like being forced to use Zoom for work. AKA your grandma or even son uses Apple product and is trying to get you to use it as well.
