    Cloud based Anti-Virus softwares ?

    Hello,

It's my observation (which could be wrong) that cloud based security softwares are generally much lighter on the CPU/Ram and have much smaller disk footprint, plus they don't download any definition updates as all the definitions are in the cloud. The only drawback they have is that they need machine to be constantly online to be able to check the files against the definitions in the cloud (there may be more that I'm not aware of)

I'm aware of couple of cloud based anti-viruses HitManPro and Webroot. Are there any other options that anyone is aware of ? (Considering my options here)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

Why? I’ve used several in the past. Although they ranged in quality from very good to poor, I don’t recall using any that seemed to be a scam.
