Installed demo (trial) version. Note options on install.

I changed service to demand start. (Disabled might mean that the VPN cannot start the service). It runs on demand when Ivacy is launched. Otherwise on default setting it runs on boot.

After a reboot it doesn't run until Ivacy is launched.

I can start or stop the service at will via ProcessHacker.

Edit: Other info. I get this notification.

I made sure that the service was running and killed it using this batch file (right click batch file) and choose run as administrator.

    @echo off
    taskkill /im Atom.SDK.WindowsService.exe /t /f
    echo
    exit

I did not get a UAC prompt.

It's possible that your ability to kill via batch file is hampered by options that you chose on install.

thx for your efforts. Those install options were unchecked. As with other apps I am especially cognizant of run at at startup options. I will adjust the service run option. Thank you.

Yes maybe demand start makes some sort of difference when killing it. (Or maybe not).

earlier you instructed to set it to Manual and I did. I revisited the services and I do not get/see a 'demand start' option.

Demand Start in ProcessHacker is the same as Manual Start in Windows. ProcessHacker just words it differently. I did not mean to confuse you.

Just an FYI. A new app has just been released.

    Skip UAC Prompt v1.0

It works fine for me to launch a shortcut to a batch file elevated without UAC.

If testing remember to uncheck "Startup" otherwise the programs/ files added will launch on startup.

Once unchecked you can just create a shortcut somewhere. Items are added to task scheduler so you don't have to mess about with that.

Note: At the moment it only works if your account is an administrator account.
