My website has been hacked

Is there a way to regain control of it.
The site will open, but I can not edit any of the files.

Windows 10 64 bit
version 22H2

Thanks for the quick reply, I suppose there is no way to do that myself.
I did sent a help ticket to my website host, but being Sunday, I was hoping there was another way.

Hacked how with what? Can't you restore from backup most ISP have a backup systems user can use

The hacking involved a link that was redirected to a Chinese web site.
Surprisingly, the host server did reply to my help desk request.
I was told to remove the link, but I do not know if that would prevent further intrusions.

Normally as a host they are requied to keep it secure with updates etc unless you have added php or Javascript thats at fault

The help desk of my website host told me to remove the links that redirected to link the Chinese web site. It seems to have worked since no other links were infiltrated.
How can I make sure there is no intrusion anymore and would a ssl certificate provide more security?

Discuss this with your service provider, that's where all the files that make up the website are stored.

If your service provider is unable to provide satisfactory assurances, shop around

Agree with @Samuria, this has nothing to do with the OS

It seems completely unrelated unless it's locally hosted on an HP Envy all-in-one... which would be a strange choice for a webserver .

I posted the Windows version because before I submitted the post, the forum ask if I had included that in my post.
