You need to read some online resources on cybersecurity and perhaps some books. Is this everyone's favorite hackable WordPress? If so, I urge you to learn and migrate to Grav CMS instead. It's all flat files, no database needed and will be less hacker prone and probably better for people that don't know crap about securing a website.

Give Grav CMS a try in XAMPP... There are other LAMP stack programs for Windows, but I just like XAMPP.

LAMP: Linux, Apache, MySQL (pronounced sequel. My Sequel), PHP (hypertext preprocessor) PHP is an ultra fast near the CPU code...

What is Grav? | Grav Documentation

BTW - If you install XAMPP to use Grav CMS you don't need MySQL installed unless you plan on using XAMPP with an existing WordPress website or something...

Just reading the information about Grav made my head spin.
For one thing I have dyslexia and secondly, my knowledge about computer stuff is extremely limited.
    Thanks for the reply.

    I figured as much.

In which case you should probably refrain from even running a website until you lean more about the basics and securing said website.

I had someone else set it up for me, it is strictly a personal website about my time in the French Foreign Legion.
All I do once in a while add a photo or article to it, by copying and pasting other items and just change the file name.
There is no data of other people on it.
I do have all the files backed up on an external HD in case it becomes completely corrupted.
