WTH is Windows Defender / Security such annoying worthless garbage?

How do I remove this worthless piece of garbage from my system?

I do not care if it breaks my Windows, I am done with it turning itself on whenever it wants and flagging and instant deleting whatever files it feels like whenever it wants, with no course to recover (protection history NEVER having anything listed).

I have no other AV or malware or anything on my system, so it IS NOT a conflict of programs

I want this worthless garbage off my system, I AM DONE WITH IT.

None of the "guides" on Google seem to work. So, whatever ideas / suggestions / etc any of you have are more than welcome.

    Please and Thank You.

Personally, I have not encountered any problems with it. However, I can provide you with a tutorial on how to disable it if you wish.

Can you name a few of the files (complete name with extension) it's deleting?

I do not want it disabled, I want it GONE.

I am 99% certain I have already tried your guide without even having to click on it.

I have tried "Permanently Disabling" it as previous guides have claimed, only to have it turn back on when it feels like.

    I am DONE with it.

Just random hand made things people have made, like game mods and trainers, other examples would be hand made programs to help alleviate? no, not the word I am looking for, to help automate processes for things I do, like creating custom icons and boot animation videos for the games on my handheld PSP machine.

Sorry, the reasoning why is not important.

It is a piece of shit REDUNDANT UNNECESSARY program taking up storage space and memory resources in my opinion and my life is a gazillion times better without it, so I want it gone.

If I wanted someone monitoring what I am doing on my machine, I certainly would not put my trust in some pos Microsoft made, I would get a proper AV like Norton or McAfee, hell, even trent micro.

Windows 10 as a whole, is the most bloated pos Microsoft has ever made, with their worthless "game mode" and all the other bs that is not in Windows 8/8.1, which I would still be using if I could.

So again, any advice, suggestions, guides, etc would be more than greatly appreciated.

I do not care that stuff gets flagged and what not, that is the job of a monitor, but this "protection history" NEVER allowing me to teach it what is bad and what is not, is what I do not have the time to care to bother with.

It never wants to allow me to unflag things it decides to flag and delete, FINE, it can get deleted.

One way or another, I will figure out how to get this done.

It seems to me that you just haven't figured out the required settings or methods of adding exclusions.

    Have a read:

    DefenderUI

Also check out the other suggestion "ConfigureDefender"

GitHub - AndyFul/ConfigureDefender: Utility for configuring Windows 10 built-in Defender antivirus settings.

If you want to remove it you'd need to download wimtweak and move it to system32 and follow this guide:

Windows 10 Privacy Guide - May 2019 Update - Federico Dossena

Just the "Removing Windows Defender" part. However I'd suggest that it's better to leave it installed and get to grips with it's settings.

    Also have a read:
How can I "permanently" disable Windows Defender?

I used to remove Defender and use alternatives but it's improved so much that these days I leave it installed and use it.

    Also see Defender Exclusion Tool:

Installing a3rd party antivirus (AV) program should permanently Disable Defender.
    OR
You can try adding all drives to the Defender exclusion rules.

Lots of free 3rd party antivirus (AV) are programs available. When you install some of these 3rd party antivirus (AV) programs, they may automatically turn off Microsoft Defender Antivirus, or you can do this manually. You may not be able to turn on Microsoft Defender Antivirus again until the 3rd party AV program has been disabled (turned off) or completely uninstalled.

If you have a 3rd party AV program installed and disable Microsoft Defender Antivirus, this will also disable Defender periodic scanning.

If you have Windows 10 build 18305 or higher, you need to turn off Tamper Protection to be able to disable Microsoft Defender Antivirus.
