I'm all about science and i have a unusual way to see things in a logic way, that is a minority trait in women and is more usual to find that trait in men.
So even if i can be philosophical i have a hard time believing some force created things. as God made earth in 7days and Eve was created from a rib of Adam.. or what the bible say.

a lot of invention is made by mistakes while working on other things.. as the Phone was a mistake meant to be a better version of the telegraph.. Fiberglass was a mistake when someone worked with glass and it dropped down in a bucket with water. etc.
Then you have those inventors that still has the child's gift of fantasy to imagine things that is fiction in others eyes and if they are handy or has close friends that are handy, they start to create their dreams...
Then a lot of inventions is created out of need.. I need to do this, how can i make that easier.
The pyramids is a thing in class with megaliths.. They could not make it float, so they had to get it up there some how.. and as those who did it isn't alive to tell how, we need to back-engineer it to figure it out.

The stone on top of two stones.. Can it been that the leg-stones was under ground and they rolled it on top and removed the dirt... Can they have had some kind of ramp and levers.
We will probably never know for sure..... But i dont think it was magic involved with floating stones in the air.

I like this kind of discussions as they are deep and not so regular so to speak.

    Edit
as for startrek and phones.. that was just communicators as hand hold communication radio. They didn't call a number.. But the first mobile phone was invented in the 60's if i dont remember wrong

Still trying to rationalize it, i don't disagree with you but somethings cannot be explained for two reasons like i already mentioned because we lost that information or because they hold extra knowledge, yes many things are happenstance but clearly many things are very well structured with no other origin because they are the origin and done on purpose because they hold key knowledge.

it is hard to define some context because many tech was around well before it became widespread for a few reasons much of the time it was cost that kept it out of the public like they had color photo for a long time before it got adopted into the mainstream because it was expensive.

There is still that defining factor with much of it in that a lot of it came from unknown origin or an origin point where there was nothing else to base it from that point is still somewhere along the line someone came with unknown knowledge or factor X or what ever you want to call it.

of course I still rationalize it.
Just because we don't understand something right now, doesn't mean it don't have an explanation.

The strange light in the sky near the earth pools was magic for a long time until it was discovered it is the sun eruptions hitting our magnetosphere that create the lights. The same with all lights from the stars.. that is light from other suns and galaxies, we all know that know, but we didn't in the past.

UFO the majority thinks of spaceships, when it is as the shortening Unidentified Flying Object. It is our minds and fantasy's that creates is has to be an intervention of some kind, as the humane race have the need to create an explanation of what did just happen, and the mind has a problem accepting "I do not know now" so the majority explain X= to ghosts, God, and so on.. and they often get afraid as that is a natural reaction from 50.000years ago when the reptile mind had flight, fight and freeze as "main programming" as we ware vulnerable and that the unknown was most often dangerous.
This is still our "base programming" as seen when you get attacked or someone close get hurt.. we react first on flight, fight and freeze until our mind and experiences kicks in and we solve the problem.

So yeah a lot of things is unknown and 40-50years ago even more was unknown as a lot has been discovered in the same pace as the technology evolves.
as the first battery was not invented around 1800.. it seems as that was invented around 2000+years ago. That was brought up in one episode of the series Star-gate SG1.
some things are re-invented by pure coincidence. So we will figure out the construction of the pyramids, the terracotta army and those megaliths. But we need to be patient before we get answers on some of the things in life.

Yeah but i was not talking about not knowing something i was talking about the unknown x factor.

You are forgetting that we don't know that we don't know so everything we do know has origin point or is a concept taught to you or else you would not comprehend it.

So the original point was in many cases who told the pioneer? or the person who came with something first? because often there was no other concept to base from in some cases.

LOL Those guys had a sense of humor, they really did. You should read about how they phone phreaked the Pope among others...

The reason why we use the Gregorian calendar now is in large part due to the Computus (Latin for computation) in large part to finally settle the date of Easter, believe it or not. I actually just wrote about that in the "Last One To Post Wins" thread on Easter. LOL!

Masscan, aircrack NG, Nmap, Kali, ParrotOS, you name it, I've used it. LOL! Before even that I used a live distro called Tropix. Back then I tried to obtain it (like I did with all my huge downloads) on my laptop in the bitter Winter from behind a dumpster at an Office Depot store in town using their free Wi-Fi. LOL But it was taking way too long and my computer was actually slower with temps at around -11°C.

Reality, Science, Fantasy and Science fiction.. it all goes together in a circle.

In the 1800 Jules Verne write a Science fiction of going to the moon. Not even air plains exists then..
Then later some science engineer reads the book and gets a idea of what is needed to actually accomplice that task.. and the works begin and finally the sci-fi becomes reality

122 years ago the hard cover book The First Men In The Moon was published and written by H.G. Wells. 68 years after this book was published Neil Armstrong would touch the surface of the moon.

What about Nikola Tesla? He created basically Wireless internet without even knowing what the internet is he said things

He was thinking about wireless electricity distribution. But I'm afraid something like that couldn't possibly exist because the energy per cubic centimeter (needed today) would be so much that you'd microwave everyone. And some people complain about EMF now... LOL There are way better ways to generate, distribute and use electromotive force for our work in energy needs though, but the grand conspiracy here is that the patents get bought up by those that want money and power. People want a "green planet", well release the patents! I have many ideas that could benefit mankind, but I'm not the only one. Because all too often than not if can think it so has someone else... Believe me when I tell you we as bipedal chimps should be in a place and time that is not like ours today by now. The proverbial "flying cars" and what not...

Frankenstein was real and that was probably one of the precursor to the traditional zombies so Count Dracula was also real maybe even Jesus was real because these all came from somewhere somebody didn't just imagine them into existence because its not possible to do that they are based of some other concept or they were an origin point some of them.
The story of Frankenstein written by Mary Shelley came about thanks to a volcano in what would be called "the year without a Summer." It was also at this time scientists were experimenting with electricity and trying to reanimate the dead... The Paris Review - The Climate Event That Helped Create ‘Frankenstein’ and the Bicycle

Count Dracula come from man's imagination (like the Werewolf) and stems from a real asshole back then known as Vlad Dracula. I believe "the impaler." Relatively just recently King Charles III said he had a blood line with that dude. LOL

The logical question here is to question what is written and learn about the facts, like biblical archeology, etc. 7 days could be 7 millennium for all we pea size minded chimps know. Trust me when I tell you the science of pseudoscience has yet to test things from the paranormal side of things to a professional degree. And that's because in large part due to A) lack of funding and B) it's taboo. Besides, the language and culture waaaay back then were very different to us today. So what was written in the most stolen book in the world (The Bible) is probably true to an extent, but mostly written in metaphor like fashion and whatnot. Jesus himself spoke in may metaphors in order for the person asking the question to understand. Take for example Luke 10:25... Matthew, Mark, Luke and John... the red lettering is/was Jesus' words...

Back to the thread topic at hand. To REALLY stay hidden on the Internet (or in society for that matter) is to simply blend in. Blend in, be humble, be curious and stay smart...

How did this guy write so many things that would come to past? Because we do...

    Edit-

To be conceptual requires one to be open to all possibilities, no matter how far flung they may be....

Exactly my point so all these concepts have an origin point and they are based off of a concept or something that exists already but there is still factor X in many cases that we cannot prove or disprove.

I think its safe to say someone like Tesla had the foresight to know that his tech could distribute all sorts of information
although he never really proved his knowledge at a scale where we know for certain. He never got the chance but someone who can transmit wireless power to a light bulb in his hand that is not plugged into anything knows some things at a time when that is not really known as feasible and definitely outside the box.

There is pictures of him doing it and we are talking in a time where they just came of the back of wild west basically still horse and cart in some context.

He did get discredited in many ways and we he was trying to get funding in the earlier parts of his experiments peoples scoffed at him because he came of as tinfoil hat.

I know i took this way off topic but i think its all relevant sure the world is a stage and in many cases they are writing in our books ahead of time in modern day its now movies doing instead but yeah writing the narrative before it happens.

Pretty scary some of it. Bringing back inline more to the thread just look at computers there is the same history here too and that many of it was foretold and that was the main takeaway initially even though we got derailed.

Simpsons has some good ones in the 90s like them in the future and they are talking into the computers over video lan before we were really doing that IRL they also referenced y2k before it happened.

When I was just 13 (1993) these commercials by AT&T here in the states ran on TV. Flipping surreal.

AT&T or the American Telephone and Telegraph company came about in 1885.... same year our popular futuristic time traveler Marty McFly goes back to the old west to help save Doc Brown.

They even made a cartoon here in the states. I remember it quite fondly as a kid.

Heck, a lot of cartoons back then were just epic. The cable channel USA had a cartoon block called USA Cartoon Express. In the states it was popular to have Saturday morning cartoons. Now today it's pretty much dried up and I wrote why on my website. Today's cartons are absolute garbage, and I'm not saying that as a 42 year old either. Just like music of the past decades, so too TV and everything else like movies is absolute garbage/"rubbish" today.

It's not old age, it's the pizazz, the flare, the wholesomeness of yesteryear that's now gone. Our culture (especially here in the states) is swirling down the toilet...

    Edit-

Think about those AT&T commercials. Windows 95 didn't even exist! LOL!

yeah there is many good examples, in that context windows 3.1 just come out the year before and we will just say that 3.0 in 1990 was the first gui based OS for simplicity reasons because it was the first consumer one and then obviously we were still in DOS before that.

Pretty scary i agree the "user interface" was still in its infancy and they were already showing us that we will be talking into the computers via video and doing all these advanced things that are not even around yet the internet was not even really that big yet.
