Windows 10 Home - Hot do you disable Anti-virus notifications?

Windows 10 Home 10.0.19041.985 x64 - I have disabled notifications for security and other apps. I have disabled Windows Defender for performance reasons. I am an advanced user, have NEVER used anti-virus on ANY computer I've ever used since I started with MS-DOS so don't start with "you shouldn't use a computer without anti-virus" lecture, that's not what this thread is about.

And yet with every reboot I keep getting nagged to turn on virus protection.

Is there any way to disable these anti-virus notifications without completely disabling all notifications?

Search for a utility that mimics the installation of a replacement anti-malware utility i.e that turns off Windows security by pretending that it is taking over the job.
I have seen reference to their existence in other threads.
See DefenderControl - disable WD - mngerhold #6 - TenForums

Thanks - I just tried Defender Control, added it to exclusion list, rebooted but still get nagged.

Grrrrrr at Microsoft. Incidentally, the tool doesn't pose as any anti-virus according to the publisher's (Sordum) website, it merely provides a way to enable/disable Defender.

    Try this
    Code:
    reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows Defender Security Center\Notifications" /v "DisableNotifications" /t REG_DWORD /d "1" /f

Thanks TairikuOkami! It worked! I thought I was going have to live with that constant nag. I hit all the search engines but produced no useful results. You're a Rock Star!

Reg key added, exported for future use on my other Windows 10 systems along my my dozens of other reg hacks (command line auto-complete was another reg hack I had to find).

And did you click on the Disable WD button?

Defender was disabled before I even started this thread along with updates.

Remember, the reason I was receiving those nags was because Defender was disabled.
