I found a GREAT webpage to help secure your Windows a must see
Hi everyone. You need to go to this webpage "STIG" they tell you about what you need to change to secure your Windows. What I do is, I always google for an example from SECPOL "Network access: Let Everyone permissions apply to anonymous users"
I copy and paste that, and then I add STIG, and then i need to just scroll down a little bit, and you will see STIG and the same name "Network access: Let Everyone permissions apply to anonymous users" and when you click it is will go to this page The system is configured to give anonymous users Everyone rights.
Here it tells you what you need to change about that to secure it, if it needs to be disabled or not. The site is GREAT! Helped me secure so much in group policy and SECPOL, so much that was compromised that I needed to change. Don't think many know about STIG that's why I share it here.
EDIT! HEY!! Look what i found! GitHub - 0x6d69636b/windows_hardening: HardeningKitty and Windows Hardening settings and configurations
Amazing! Its 100% free! Does the things we would want but can't pay for.
"The project started as a simple hardening list for Windows 10. After some time, HardeningKitty was created to simplify the hardening of Windows. Now, HardeningKitty supports guidelines from Microsoft, CIS Benchmarks, DoD STIG and BSI SiSyPHuS Win10. And of course my own hardening list."
