Wow.. your suggestion sounds very damn good! So just to be sure. when you advise swapping 2 disks (with their own o/s, of course), you mean having 2 different disks in the same PC. Is this right?

Yes, but you'll never have them both attached to computer, one of them is always detached and thus offline, away from PC..
there is no way one disk would infect the other and you're safe for cheap price, the price of a new SSD.

edit:
the only drawback is that you'll have to have your case open to be able to connect\disconnect disks.
the disk should not be external USB or anything like that, but a real SSD.

Is there any way for the PC to disconnect the banking HD or SSD without manually disconnecting it? Its pretty inconvenient to physically open the case, connect then disconnect the HD/SSD then close the case again. Theres gotta be a way.
