Well right now I'm going to just use defender since Kaspersky Total isn't on sale. I am planning to buy Kaspersky Total again if it comes on sale again.
But isn't there a big difference between Kaspersky Total and defender though? I heard defender is better now than a while back but what extra protection does Kaspersky Total give that defender doesn't have? If you don't visit sketchy websites, you are obviously safe with defender. But what if you accidentally clicked on a link or picture that might have malware, keylogger or virus? Will Kaspersky Total protect you more or not? What if you download a file that might be malware but you didn't know it was? Is defender going to do enough though if you open it? Or it doesn't matter even if you have Kaspersky Total?
I feel like Kaspersky Total is preferred over defender though right?
