Multiple "Malwarebytes Native Message Service" in Task Manger

    Hello.

I have a recurring issue with multiple Malwarebytes Native Message Service processes occurring in Windows Task Manager. I have to manually terminate them on by one on a regular basis. The memory usage is quite low, but I want to know why this keeps occurring.

From what I have read elsewhere, this issue is being caused by Malwarebytes Browser Guard. Is this correct? If so, how can I stop it from reoccurring.

    Thanks.

    Hello @xlr8tx

Since you are already being assisted in the Malwarebytes forum, please allow that process to continue and avoid multiple, well-meaning helpers working at cross purposes.

The topic you opened there is being closely monitored by Malwarebytes staffers.

    Good luck to you.

The "assistance" provided there has reached an impasse.

Also, there were no "staffers" offering assistance. There was one advisor whose profile explicitly states that he does not work for MB.

I want to get any possible insight from multiple sources not just official channels, which is the whole point of forums like this. Otherwise, we would all only go to official Microsoft forums for help.

If you want to help or offer some insight, I welcome it. If not, then just mind your business and move on.

Malwarebytes support has been unable to resolve the issue or even give any insight into why it's occurring.

So, if 1PW will give us all his blessing, I would appreciate any help or insight that anyone could offer.

    Hello @xlr8tx

Once a consumer/client has officially engaged with the services of Malwarebytes Support, Malwarebytes Forum members do not interject due to the interference that would result.

Since Malwarebytes Support has immediate/superior access to developer resources, I urge you to request an escalation within Malwarebytes Support.

    Good luck.
