    Windows 10 Defender/SpybotS&DProEd/MalwarebytesPremium/best settings?

    Windows 10 21H2 build 19044 1645.
    Windows 10 Defender/SpybotS&DProEd/MalwarebytesPremium/best settings?
I am experimenting with the three listed security programs. Presently Spybot and Malwarebytes are
only-on-demand scanning settings, Windows Defender/Firewall/Security is always ON.
I think WD/Sec is set to scan for malware and anti-virus, along with whatever is default.

With Windows 10 Defender/Firewall/Security Combine front and center:
Do any of you have any REGs or VBSs or BATs that will enhance protection and configuring ability?

Is anyone in here also using Spybot Search&Destroy Professional Edition 29820, including Anti-Beacon Plus?
If yes, I would like your ideas on the best settings, to add to my theoretical best settings?

Those of you who are also using Malwarebytes version 4 AM/AV Premium?
If yes, I would like your ideas on the best settings, to add to my theoretical best settings?

    Hi there -

Always go with the defaults and enhance (if required) from there.
For example, in Malwarebytes, I enable Rootkit Scanning but disable their AI capabilities.

Study the program's options and make small changes that you will understand.

Everyone's needs are different to some extent.

@Compumind - thanks! I will do as you indicated, it matches some of what I have already tried...more fine-tuning to do.
    I will report progress.
