The larger of the two is for 64-bit systems, the other for 32-bit.

joke aside lol, unless you're a spy or working for government I see no reason why you should be worried.

Interesting, while I'n not American nor Russian, If i had to choose who is going to spy on me I would choose it to be foreign country rather than my own country, simply because foreigeiners have no power to do anything about me in my own country.
Install backdoors. Plant malware. Access your Facebook and Twitter accounts. More.

Considering the state of affairs these days in Russia, with opposition to the war equated to treason, I personally would discontinue of Kaspersky.

I don't think Putin cares if you are a big American fish or a little American fish. At this point it would be better to be safe than to be sorry. Kaspersky IS a Russian company that is beholding to Russia and Putin. I don't like the odds. When do the cyber attacks begin?

Putin and his Kremlinities have great cyberattack abilities.
Use Windows Defender and Firewall or Norton 360.

Watch where you surf. It's the best you can do.

Which is probably why Russia doesn't crack down on its ransomware gangs. Of course, someone at the top may be getting a slice of the action.

There is famous quote from Abraham Lincoln:
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
The point is, the kremiln may hack some of the kaspersky users, if they plant malware they surely do so by targeting state officials, but not casual end users because this would not go unnoticed.
Out of million casuals one would notice and this would harm their reputation more than anything else, therefore I'm not buying it.
