    W10 Messages About Firewall & AV Off...


    Ever since the November CU my system repeatedly and randomly throws up the message center with two warnings that Norton and WD firewall and AV support is turned off. Norton AV and Firewall is always enabled and running. WD is always off as that is what is configured. Is MS being a PIA because I don't use WD?

    personally i turned off Windows Defender (now Microsoft Defender) in gpedit.msc
    maybe you can turn off Windows Defender (now Microsoft Defender) to see if it helps
