I have always been a Bitdefender fan, in the past - when I was troubled with Trojan Horse attacks during early 2000's, none of the AV's were able to stop the menace - like how BD did, since then if I needed paid version - its always been Bitdefender. I currently have Bitdefender Total Security installed on W10, W7 laptops.

I have used paid versions of AVG, Symantec, McAfee, Norton, Bitdefender.
Free versions - Avast, Avira, AVG, Bitdefender, Kaspersky

In the free version, I have Kaspersky installed on my dad's W10 PC & it works like a charm.

What's your favorite anti malware? My favorite anti malware is Emsisoft. I'm still using ESET Smart Security Premium. Please post it here

Norton uses a lot of heavy resources that's why i switched from Avast (Avast becoming Norton) to ESET
That is a really old view of Norton, it no longer uses lots of resources and is instead very lean.

Why are you so interested in what everyone uses when you resolutely stick with what you have even though people are showing that you are basing your decision on out of date information?

I've been using vpn's for over ten years, and I find they prevent malware from getting to my machine. VPN's are even better now, and some have built in malware, virus prevention. Best multi layer security there is.

Microsoft defender is more than good enough for me as i hardly get virus or malware. I relies more on basic instinct
    when downloading files or emails.

Is that as opposed to Pfizer-BioNTech and J & J?

My three Modernas have worked so far. Happy, happy.

I don't need anti-malware as an additional program. One Bitdefender Total Security is enough for the entire protection of my device. I don't download any suspicious attachments & my AV blocks me from visiting any suspicious pages - I have browser extensions in place to prevent anything stupid from loading as well.
