So you have switched AV, because ransomware protection works?
Personally I do not like Defender, but this is one thing they did right.

i do not like Norton because of Norton uses a lot of heavy resources, what do you think?
Norton uses 1 to 3% of CPU steadily (11 or 10). Don't know about heavy resources meaning and the reddit link sounds like a joke.

Reports such as these are out-of-date 5 minutes after they're written. You could write an article on any anti-malware's vulnerability as soon as another piece of malware is released. The important aspect is how quickly the software is updated/patched by the distributor.

And it doesn't take much research to link these types of critical articles to a product that is not mentioned. Rarely balanced reporting.

Your link is to an article that's over a year old. I hardly think it has any relevance today.

A bit more that 5 minutes in this case. That one was written on 5th October 2020.

    A fresh article:

The best free antivirus around might surprise you | TechRadar

"AV-TEST, a 15-year-old independent research institute for IT security from Germany, regularly puts all big-name antivirus solutions to the test, and has chosen Microsoft’s cybersecurity tool over all others."
