    Disable W10 Encryption?


    Hi guys. I recently ordered a new laptop and recieved it today. It has Windows 10 64-bit on it (Version 2004, Build 19041.1288). Anyway, I noticed that it has device encryption enabled. Should I disable it? I am the only user on laptop, and would primarily use it for gaming. Any help appreciated :)

    As for whether you should or shouldn't, I can't say. I don't use it myself.

    Seems strange encryption would be enabled by default. May want to check the mfrg's website to see if that is the norm.

    As far as I am concerned, Surface has got encryption enabled by default.
