    Windows Defender

    Hello,

I can't turn on Windows Defender. I get an error message: Windows Defender Firewall can't change some of your settings. Error code 0x80070422.

I also get the following error message when I turn on my laptop: Windows cannot find C:\Program.

I have the Windows 10 Home Edition, version 21H1.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you for your reply Megahertz.

I am not computer savvy, the reason why I did not fill in the hardware specs. Forgive my ignorance.

The full error message I get when I turn on my laptop is the following: C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps\Microsoft.549981C3F5F10_3.2109.6305.0_x64_...\Win32Bridge.Server.exe'.Ma ke sure you typed the name correctly, and then tryagain.

I copied it letter by letter as I could not take a screen shot and save it on the forum.

Open Explorer and browse to C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps\
    Is all there?

My mistake. Both are present i.e. C:\Program Files (x86) and C:\Program Files but the search for C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps\ leads nowhere.

I've got to go. I'll connect again tomorrow in the hope of finding a solution. Pleasant evening to all.
