How do you turn BitLocker back on after cloning the OS drive?

Through the years I have used Samsung Data Migration to clone a drive to a Samsung SSD without any problems. I recently got a new laptop with a BitLocker encrypted drive-M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, and have been trying to clone the OS to a new Samsung SSD 980 with no luck. The SDM does nothing at all-stuck at zero.

After research, it looks like the encryption has to be turned off before cloning the drive, and I can see where to turn it off. Before I do that though, I would like to know how to turn it back on. Does it turn itself back on automatically when the laptop is turned back on, do I go back to the same toggle used to turn it off to turn it back on, do I need the BitLocker key to turn it back on, or are there other hoops to jump through? TIA

Thanks for the prompt reply. Couple of notes after reading the tutorial you linked:
It says it applies to versions other than W10 Home. Maybe things have changed since the tutorial was published?
It shows only one way to turn it on, all the other ways are to turn it off? Is that still the case?
Hopefully this post is easier to read than my original post-I normally have the computer in dark mode.

Guess I was over-thinking it. After looking at a number of the tutorials, I realized W10 Home did not come with BitLocker but rather just a 'Disk Encryption' setting at the bottom of Security in the Settings. I turned it off, ran Samsung Data Migration, installed the new SSD 980, and turned on Disk Encryption, and everything works as it should. The laptop still passes the W11 test. Sweet.

I have gone into control panel, and bitlocker is there and simply switched it back on.

I do not see a reference to BitLocker in my control panel. I wonder if it's not a part of W10 Home, just the other versions of W10.
