    Malwarebytes is my nemesis

My OS is Windows 10 version 20H2 OS Build 19042.928

Malwarebytes is not shown as a program on my PC...is NOT shown as an app...yet is disallowing the integrator.exe file for (Glarysoft.com) to open/function. I have been a paid user of Glary Utilities Pro for some years and want to get back ON.

After trying a multitude of 'tips' on how to fix this it seems the only way to change this to the 'allowed list' is to download and PAY FOR Malwarebytes and I do NOT want that program.

Some real firm advice is requested, please.

its free for 14 days and says so in a few places in pretty large text on the website.

    1. download.
    2. install.
    3. uninstall.
    4. check if you can open your file.
    5. profit.

Emsisoft - Emergency Kit: Free Portable Malware Scan and Removal

P.S. Malwarebytes is PUP/PUA (at least in my book).

    Hello @Captain07 and welcome:

Despite yours, mine, or the otherwise positive opinion of many, Glary Utilities are generally not held in high regard according to the most recent analysis at VirusTotal.

Regardless, if you have ever had any edition of Malwarebytes for Windows (MB4) installed on that W10 system in the past, MB4 may not have been thoroughly uninstalled due to the shortcomings of the uninstaller in Windows and others.

Consulting the documentation for Uninstall and reinstall Malwarebytes using the Malwarebytes Support Tool (MBST), closely follow the steps through step 10. In step 11, please select No. Even if the W10 OS does not restart, please restart Windows.

After running MBST clean, please reply to this topic with the system's status.

Maybe because your installation is in trial period... Allow list works fine in free edition.

Windows Defender does not like it either. But I see no blocks when scanned with Malwarebytes.

Oh yeah... Follow instruction to exclude it also in defender. By default I always put my desktop, downloads, and all other required directories in the exclude list. I also have PW protected Backup of the most "wanted" in case I forget. Lately MB started deleting my old VB apps.
