I understand what you mean dalchina. Anyway, I Macriumed it just now this morning, back to 2 days ago and 1) the Firewall is fully restored, and 2) all my work that day is still intact and working.
So, No problems here for quite a while again.

I really think it had to do with Windows Update which I've heard has never been terribly stable for years now. Still, thanks again!

    Hello @Corona,

    Corona said:
And System Restores don't create daily restores, only maybe when they feel it's an important recent install.

Basically yes, but you can schedule System Restores if you think it will help. Remember though, when there is an Upgrade they get Dleted, so it is best to have a System Image regime in place.

    Have a look at these . . .

    > How to Automatically Create System Restore Point on Schedule in Windows 10
    > How to Create a System Restore Point in Windows 10

Also, have a look at the Related Tutorials at the BOTTOM of the above Tutorials as they may also be Helpful.

    I hope this helps.

Went through a remote session with a Dell tech today and it took a lot more than a System Restore to correct the Firewall problem. Matter of fact, it was just Macrium to an earlier date that got Firewall to open correctly, and from there the tech could look deep into it and correct it.
Anyway, thanks for your post. I consider this topic Solved.
