Windows Defender: grave threat [Worm:Win32/Ramnit.A] "LecVhdUw.exe"

Hi, just wanted to look at an usb that wasn't used for some years, and found that there's and installation for probably Win10 and saw an unusual folder for an installation which was the RECYCLER folder, so browsed in it and saw this strange executable file and some seconds later Windows Defender poped up a message saying that it is a grave virus. Should it be a false positive or it's really a dangerous thing? The very fact that there is a RECYCLER folder denotes that there is something wrong with these files for the Windows installation... It's just for curiosity since i don't need to use this stuff. The executable name it's written in the title. Thank's for your interest.

    Regards.

    Hi,

LecVhdUw.exe does not exist... Sometimes "Malware" will install viruses that way. So it can try be auto executed "somewhere", "sometime".

If it was really infected with Ramnit.A... Then be grateful Defender stopped it. loll.

But it can be possible regarding the age of your drives

I would format that drive and forget about its contents. Ramnit is not something to mess with.
