McAfee Livesafe: Your computer is at risk or Your computer is exposed.

I have been having a frequent issue with my HP Pavilion X360 15 Laptop after each boot from a fresh startup when I turn it on each day from McAfee Livesafe saying in Microsoft Edge that "Your computer has been exposed" or when hovering over the McAfee icon on the taskbar "Your computer is at risk". I have an active McAfee subscription that is fully updated. Windows 10 is fully updated. Once I launch the McAfee application, and run updates or a scan, the errors go away and it says no viruses were found.

Can anyone tell me what is going on here?

    Turn off Web Push Notifications

BTW, you don't need McAfee Anti-Virus. Windows 10 comes with Windows Security (Defender) included in Windows and it's free.

I refuse to use Windows Defender. I don't like it.

It's your choice, it's your computer.
Windows Defender works seamlessly with Windows as it is a part of it and updates automatically with Windows. It also protects you about the same as McAfee but is much less of a resource hog. Did I mention it's free as opposed to McAfee?

Can you try uninstalling then reinstalling the Mcafee to see if the problem repeats itself?
