All my donwloads are blocked because they can harm my computer!!??

I mean ALMOST EVERYTHING, just tried to download acrobat reader, BLOCKED, it can harm my computer!?
Any many other important applications. I really should not done this clean install..

ok I right click and it was possible. Is there a way without having to right click?

Any installer or .zip file you download from the internet will initially be marked as blocked, having come from another computer. Simply unblock the file after you download it.

Interesting. I don't get that for most downloads.

Does it have anything to do with my (foolishly) using an admin account?

Which browser do you use?

what do you mean "blocked" - completely? A warning you can by-pass?

Type of user account to access computer - admin level account ?

Edge or are you by any chance using Brave, where it is "normal"?
You can use Free Download Manager or something similar instead.

I have no security at all. I have Edge, Microsoft all the way :). They are blocked BEFORE being downloaded, I have to right-click and choose "keep". That's my workaround. I´m the only user and admin. on both my computers.

Since XP SP2, you have to right-click and select "Unblock".
