I'm no expert, but what you described, it sounds like ghost clicks on your mouse. Is your mouse old/dirty? If so it may be randomly auto-clicking on its own. Just a thought. Maybe try a different mouse?
It is old, but I’m not sure about dirty. It is not a type of mouse that can be taken apart, but maybe air can be sprayed into it. I don’t have another mouse, and this one is really good for the Wacom tablet. But I noticed that with the tabs that were opened, it seemed to open to a specific probably Microsoft video page. I had an Adblock on in my email, so I don’t understand how that opened, unless there was some link perhaps somewhere that I didn’t notice. Before the bios update, the mouse lagged at times, then it was working better afterwards. I had wondered if it was residual of the Trojan, since the second time it clicked on everything it hovered over. However, it wasn’t opening random things that I wasn’t clicking on like before. Also, if it has dirt in it, the dirt can only get in very small areas between the buttons.

Does anyone have any references of where farbar is recommended? Recently this indication of hacks and the possibility of this Trojan being reactivated are indicated again, but avast didn’t find anything.

You also have a Wacom tablet? Connected all the time, or via bluetooth? Could be signal from it

I do have one connected most of the time. However, I don't think the cursor would move on its own and open applications, shut browser tabs, etc. Because when it does that, I had not been using the mouse. I believe these things were happening when it wasn't connected. A trojan that i previously quarantined seemed to do such things.

yeah, i know about that one. That is why I asked about the reviews from sites, since it is the same one where some people said they had problems or said negative things. I also would like to find out that if I could get assistance, since I read that that program can be difficult to use. Also, does it detect anything besides malware?

If you post complete results, it will show all software you have installed. Including hacks etc. Reminding you that Tenforums have strict anti piracy policy

It is safe to use, our experts in BSOD and antivirus sections use it often. Sorry, but I am not one of them

well. i have additions log, the other log from farbar, and a malwarebytes log, if anyone might be able to help me. i don't think my e-mail is monitored anymore, but somebody sure has access to my computer, and has done so in safe mode with networking. Avast forums may not have staff anymore, malwarebytes staff may want me to remove avast (though it has trojans quarantined), along with every other software that is protecting my computer. i certainly cannot understand farbar logs, though what i do understand is that it seems to reference software and possibly registry keys. Malwarebytes does not seem to find anything ever. I have also given Microsoft Community Forums information. Some sites only tell me to do what I already did, or just say do a factory reset. I do not think that is the solution to everything. Due to a computer repair person telling me that pay antivirus software can do more than free software, I suspect that might be true. At the same time, some software that they told me to use, along with other software I found, seems to report false positives. I really would like to find any possible hidden viruses that aren't detected. I know that people can install viruses from backend hacking, or some viruses can embed in the software. The fact that malware bytes didn't find anything, then kapersky free antivirus didn't find anything, but avast free found somethings tells me something. It tells me that some programs can detect more than others. Even the free programs say that premium software will do more. I don't like the idea that i would need to potentially reinfect my computer with quarantined viruses to use other software. At this point, there are signs that the current laptop may have some hardware problems, and i need to move stuff to the new laptop, but i do not want to move the infection/exploits to the new laptop.

I have the FRST log, the one i mentioned, and a malware bytes log, which i think may not be useful. i didn't see a message that said how to post them. How would you want me to reference them here?
