    Removing permanently mypromomall cookie

The Cookie Auto Delete plug-in for my Firefox browser is always popping up messages about removing this cookie. Yet it seems to persist. I never go to any mypromomall website, so I have to assume that some embedded malware is always refreshing this cookie.

I did a search on removing this cookie, but there were basically no results. Can I possibly be the only guy with this issue?

Any addon or extention which may do it?

Could be a false positive ... maybe?

Try Malwarebytes - download free version, run. Then uninstall it if you don't want it any more. Or if you keep it, only use it if/when required (make sure you turn off the start-up option and also stop it continuing to run in the background after use)

You could also try flushing the FFox cache - completely. Make sure you know all your passwords, in FFox > Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear data ... > (tick both) Clear > Clear now

Then go to History > Clear History > (Time range to clear pulldown) Everything > tick all boxes > OK

In addition to the great suggestion from @idgat, please download/launch/update/run Malwarebytes AdwCleaner. AdwCleaner is free. No parameters need to be changed from default.

Afterwords, please consider keeping and running AdwCleaner weekly/monthly...

    Download: http://adwcleaner.malwarebytes.com/

As of this posting: App version: At least 8.3.0.0 - Database: At least 2021-09-09.1 (Cloud)

Thanks. I followed your suggestions. So far, so good. No more messages about mypromomall. What a piece of work (s---) they are. Of course, I have to log in again to like a zillion forums and websites, but that's OK.
