    Hi,

how can I configure Windows to allow scanning and display permissions of directories, subdirectories and files on an entire volume so that the contents of files cannot be viewed/read or changed at the same time?
    icacls ?
    but how ?

    Thx,

Welcome to the forum. Its not clear what you want to do and why. If its a system drive and you set things that can't be read. Or changed it could screw the system

The idea is to check what are the permissions (attributes) of files or folders and subfolders on a non-system volume, while not being able to read the files and subfolders (data).

Generally icacls E:TEST /t works, but only when I have read permissions to the folders.
I don't want to read data in subfolders and files on path E:\TEST .
I want to read what permissions are set in all subfolders and files on path E:\TEST .

Maybe the table here will help you. You have to have at minimum read permissions on each object to access/list file attributes. See the "Read Attributes" line under "Special Permissions" column in the table.
