Well, this is becoming funny. I unblocked and disabled and whatever, and this time MWB snagged it.
I, perhaps unlike OP, was only interested in this disabling operation because I wanted to see whether Disk Cleanup could wipe all of the temp files stored by Windows Defender. When I run DC, it shows (sometimes) something in the neighborhood of 30 MB of files for WD, and after I clean everything up, I find those files untouched; DC reports just what it reported before. The amount of space taken up by those files is trifling, but I was just interested in seeing whether the files could be dumped while WD was sleeping.
I think I'll rest easier tonight , knowing that I had a really challenging time trying to get that executable past my two real-time anti-malware programs.
