avast terminating any and all amazon website connections?

is anyone else having problems with avast terminating any and all amazon website connections and getting a web shield pop up flagging cloudfront(with the result that any amazon page is blocked from loading) at the same time?

of my immediate circle, myself, my stepfather, a friend in kentuckey, we're all seeing this.

their product support forums are seeing sporadic reports of this...but I wanted to bounce this off of you lot.

That will be a false positive detection that they will need to fix in their database.

then what the devil is avast's problem...

Would actually need the full url to be sure (the part after cloudfront [dot] net)

It could be that they detected malvertising or something but mistakenly blocked the entire domain.

avast didn't record the part after dot net...lemme check and see if I can find anything in the detection record.

edit: ok, apparently avast doesn't have network detection records? its only got things in the quarantine chest, which were test files from the last time I had my computer serviced(graphics card failure)

both links are HARD blocked.

here's the interesting thing..the win10 amazon apps work just fine. no hint of a response from web shield.

also..I find myself frustrated with people who are so convinced there's no problem just cause they cant reproduce it(several people have so many security screens I'm amazed they can get online) over on the avast forums.
