How to stop Virus & Threat Protection notifications

I'm using the below settings and yet, I'm receiving the notification also seen below every time a full scan has been completed. Even when no threats were found.

Not sure if it's a bug or something I missed?

    I'm on Windows 10 21H1.

    Are you using S mode?

Version 21H1 came off optional for me today & is now installed, I can now see what you see. Gave up running a Quick scan after over 4 hrs. Will try again in 1 - 2 days time, just to see if it does the same as yours. I never run an AV, if it thinks I have a problem file, it lets me know, nearly always a false positive.
I do run Free Malwarebytes a couple of times a year.

    Hello @WebMaximus,

Just as an alternative option, try running either a Quick Scan or Full Scan from the CMD Prompt as shown here . . .

    > OPTION THREE - Scan with Windows Defender Antivirus from Command Line

For further information if required here . . .

    > Configure and Manage Microsoft Defender Antivirus with the mpcmdrun.exe Command-Line Tool

. . . although the first option [ OPTION THREE above ] should do what you want, hopefully.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks Paul but doing it the way I do now and then simply clear the notification with a single click seems easier than running the scans via a command prompt.

I just thought it feels weird why I get these notifications with the settings I have chosen seen above when no threats were found. Seems like a bug to me.

    Hello @WebMaximus,

Fair enough, I just thought that I would point out that there were alternative options available, if needed.

    "I'm using the below settings"
Default settings are > On & 3 boxes checked.

"every time a full scan has been completed"
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mic...o365-worldwide
"Because of the time and resources involved in a full scan, in general, Microsoft does not recommend scheduling full scans."
