    Windows 10 Firewall Control

This is a program I've been using for several years, and I'm planning on moving it (paid version) to the win 10 machine I just finished.

What are opinions of this firewall? It works with the firewall included with Windows and monitors outbound traffic. System files are whitelisted by default, everything else requires input for temporary, permanent or no outbound access.

    I haven't used it.

If that's all you need it for consider:

Unlike many other Firewalls, Free Firewall can be operated with any other firewall in parallel. Also with Windows Firewall.

I tried Sphinx's WFC, it is very light, but it is overcomplicated and it has not been updated in 2 years.
I like Binisoft WFC, it can lock windows firewall rules, so windows or apps can not add any at random.

Thanks for your replies. Regarding the "not been updated in 2 years", as long as it blocks all outgoing traffic except for that which is whitelisted, I'm not sure that's a concern (other than maybe to fortify the app against recent exploits?).

The Binsoft seems interesting, especially given that it was bought by MWB. I'm assuming it's free, since I found no mention of purchasing or subscription on their site or elsewhere.

What would the advantage of Binsoft be over the Sphinx offering? FWICT, it looks pretty similar in function to W10FC.

The above said, I think I'll give the MWB/Binsoft a shot on the new win 10 build. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
