Firewall Problems
Is there a way to stop applications editing my firewall settings?
In particular I have one application that adds rules every time it powers-up, so over time it litters the firewall with hundreds of similar entries.

It would help to know what version of Windows 10 you are running, (Home, Pro, OS build number, etc.)
It would probably also help to know what "application" we are discussing.
I don't use Defender firewall, I use a 3rd party firewall. In general the usual method is just block the offending application, if possible.
Sometimes this can be done in the firewall rules, sometime Group Policy (Win 10 Pro) would be the easier way.
