    Windows Defender bug, hotfix today...


    If anyone noticed, in the last Windows Defender was a bug which caused you HDD/SDD filled up with crap files. In the meantime a fix has been released and is being installed silently.

    If you have any version of Engineversion LOWER than 1.1.18100.6 you have this bug. If you have received this update, you are on Engineversion Engineversie: 1.1.18100.6 (Lower than that, you have not received the update yet, like Engineversie: 1.1.18100.5 ie.)

    Thanks RingTailCoon, I had this morning WD not being able to install its definition file. Downloaded but failed to install. In the next few hours everything went back to usual. Probably that was related to this bug.

    Had the same prob but yesterday. Resetted WU and all was back to normal, except the file it wanted to install was gone suddenly...

    Even after resetting WU, this bugger refuses to install

    Edit: Nevermind, installed it from the Windows catalog and all's well

Just curious, has anyone had any defender definition updates today through windows update? I have had none which seems unusual
AMD Hotfix Drivers

What are the AMD hotfix drivers and how do they differ from the normal updates? Would you only install them if you have issues or should you normally install them? Thanks
I updated to the latest 16.6.1 Hotfix driver and had several Event ID 16388 ATI EEU Client Events at boot. It also took a few more seconds for the login screen to appear and Photoshop decided to disable use of the GPU. I note the last Hotfix is not...
