I keep records of some customizations I do and each twice-yearly Version Upgrades tend to remove things to put Win10 back to a default situation such as the addition of Copy to and Move to context entries in File Explorer and the use of the Win7/Win8 Games. I keep such things in a separate folder for storage and can rather quickly get them back. Most Builds don't bother things as much. Defender isn't part of preventing those things I do.
