Standalone computer, physically accesible by one user. Is there any security benefit in signing out rather than just putting computer to sleep?

The advantage to "signing out" is that IF someone CAN access your computer while you're NOT there, they would have to know the password, PIN whatever.

Ghot, I never used W10, would waking a W10 run computer from its sleep bring it back to full screen without having to enter a password? Unless user set up sleep to require a password for re-entry?
