    Stopping spam from google?

    It seems like google is becoming more and more annoying to use on a daily basis. If someone has any solutions, please post them in this thread, thanks.

    • I want to prevent the video thumbnails in the search results from being autoplayed.

    • I want to disable the tooltip notification, that asks you to sign up for a google account.

    • I want to disable the popup dialog, that shows you a list with related search results.

    • I want to disable the tooltip notification, that asks you to support people's business.

    • I want to disable the popup dialog, that asks if you are looking for results in english.

    It's not spam, it's called Google Services.

    I've noticed lately, in various threads, that you desire to block every internet annoyance and try to achieve total anonymity...,

    well..., internet services don't work worth a damn if you try to achieve that.

    Here's an interesting watch:

    Indeed, that the reason I use it, even though I do not mind google that much. DDG has much more cleaner search results. Google search can be customized a little, but not too much and it is hard to find..

    @Cerawy
    I recently switched back to google search engine because my patience is very thin and it gives me the results I need "right now".

    However, once you log into any google service or do anything with google that is not strictly related to search engine you'll almost immediately feel their algorithms distort your search results.

    While portion of the solutions to your problem are tabu, I recommend you to use google for nothing else than search.
    start with changing email service, because you avoid logging into any google service, and limit their ability to mess with your search.

    It would at least be good to stop videos from autoplaying, whenever you search for something on google. Also, im getting a popup dialog in the bottom right corner of google, which tells me to support people's business. Is anyone getting this as well?

    I don't have a google account, and i dont want one either. The article says to install an addon, but it doesn't mention anything besides that. I just tried the mcafee addon, but it doesn't seem to stop the thumbnail videos from autoplaying?

    @Cerawy

    Maybe post a link to a page where you get the autoplay video problem.
