    Weird graphics problem, is it a virus or a driver or hardware problem?

    Hi everyone.

    Edge has been acting differently for some time. If I click on the usual page in the usual place instead of giving me the usual result, sometimes (1 time out of 10/20 or so), it shows me an advertisement.

    I didn't worry so much because the advertisement goes away with a click and I have no other problems with other tabs / sites.

    I have also recently updated the graphics card drivers. And after some good running time (2 or 3 weeks) I started having some weird graphics problems. Also difficult to explain but I try.

    When I try to close edge it flickers as if there is another application above edge and I can't always close edge. Then the notifications appear all busted with even sensitive information, such as email etc.

    I attach an image. This is the rigth panel of notification center: But it doesn't always do that!

    Can you help me understand what to do? How do you advise me to proceed?

    Please download AdwCleaner (free).... it may be a "pup", or something unwanted to your browser: https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

    I had already tried. I did it again and it just found me the remains that "iobit-malware-fighter" left.

    He still does it to me. I noticed that he does it to me when I return from suspension.

    Have you used a registry cleaner and deleted fonts?

    No, I haven't used any registry cleaners or fonts. However, he does it to me even without going into suspension. Look now the favicon are all pixelated.

    Try running another browser to see if the same thing happens. It will at least prove or disprove an Edge problem. As it also occurs showing the Action Centre it might be an issue with graphics.

    The problem is with edge, firefox and the notification center. Furthermore, if I put the pc in suspension upon return, the problem is immediate. I also tried google chrome and there is another problem: if I type and press enter to search it does not happen, the screen does not update. here I clicked in the search bar and pressed "f" several times followed by enter, and moving the cursor on the tab you see the suggestion

    I have tried a dozen antimalware but none have found anything except SpyHunter.
    I also used antirookit and one found me something. Is there anyone here who can help me?

    @einstein1969
    AdwCleaner showed you four PUPs ...potentially unwanted programs ...and it is free!
