    Windows 10x has new antivirus


    We love our avast,avg,mcafee,nod32
    Windows has got brand new antivirus with all lastest virus data base built in..ignite..if I remember the name right
    We will be safe online and protected..
    Defender was only a beta..this is official
    U love Windows 7 right
    Then window vista
    Then Windows 8.1
    And Windows 10 built in all 7 vista 8.same as defender
    This new antivirus is official protection..forget defender,now your protected

    It a leaked I resource,but had a comfirm

    I am reasonably certain your information is incorrect
    Ignite is not, as you seem to believe the name of an app

    It is Microsoft IGNITE

    Also I can assure you that the Defender originally on 7 was a simple adware/spyware protection. NOT a antivirus, but the Defender on 8 and then 10 was a full AV protection which has been greatly enhanced on 10 and started to a certain extent with MSE on 7, as an available download.

    Actually I detest Avast, AVG and McAfee. They get their hooks deep into the kernel and can cause upgrade problems. They are also terribly difficult to uninstall, usually requiring specialist tools from the manufacturer.

    I think you've got your wires crossed here. Ignite is the name of a conference that Microsoft hold each year. It is true that security was a major topic at Ignite 2020, but all in the name 'Defender'. In fact, one of the more significant changes was that the product formerly known as Microsoft advanced threat protection (ATP) is now part of the 'Defender' brand.

    Hi,
    I wouldn't call defender new
    Only thing I call new is how it pesters people that don't use a MS user account and to do so
    Plus any settings that a user might change like cloud protection/ sample uploading/ smart screen filter/....
    So really defender just gets more nagging to people that don't do what defender wants them to do.
    But relax right MS knows best.

    Sure they won't use defender
